I walked through my day yesterday so inspired by the people I connected with-
The teachers, caregivers, custodians, mailmen, cashiers, librarians, office workers, children, volunteers, and the coffee shop worker and owner.
Yesterday, I had perspective. Everywhere I looked I saw people making a difference in the life of someone else. I saw their hands at work helping someone else- from their abc's and 123's to zipping mailbox to mailbox delivering mail. People were on the move doing their part in the world...
I am inspired by all I saw and experienced yesterday. I also saw some bad things, and I choose to be inspired by those moments as well.
The good and the bad inspire me to keep writing, to keep speaking, to pound the pavement and go meet people -in person - and share messages that will encourage others to be who they were made to be and do their part to make a positive impact on those around them.
Pause. Breathe. Pray.
And be inspired by each person we walk by - recognizing each person's value. Let it be fuel in our tank today knowing we too have value and purpose- and to not just know that- but to live it out!
When we recognize that we each have value and purpose the tearing each other down stops and the building one another up begins.
I am ready to build others up today...are you?
"Therefore encourage one another and build each other up." - 1 Thessalonians 5:11
