The start of every New Year is filled with hope.  Making resolutions and setting goals demonstrates people's hope to be better expressions of themselves.

Slowly that hope can drift away riding on waves of negative self talk, excuses and rationalizations.  These thoughts carry us away from truth.  When you find that happening (as I do), I invite you to...

Pause. Breathe. Pray.

Ask God to take all those thoughts captive that are inhibiting your from becoming from being your best self.  Trust that you can transform into who you were made to be by renewing your mind.  Let those old thoughts drift away but do not float with them.

Anchor your thoughts, and your soul, with the hope that you can be your authentic self.

Take time to be still, align with God, stay the course, and allow hope to anchor your soul.

Be well,
