It is said the longest distance is from the head to the heart; knowing to trusting.
I believe the longest distance is actually from the head to the heart, to the hands; knowing, trusting and then putting what you know and trust into action.
For example, my mind knows that exercising is good for me, my heart trusts exercise will make a difference mentally and physically, but actually exercising will be what makes the difference.
Along your journey to become who God made you to be, you may know you need to do something. You may also trust what you need to do will be what makes the difference for you. BUT... you will not grow into the person you were made to be just by thinking or praying about it. You have to be an active participant and put what you know and trust into practice!
I am not just saying this, I have been doing my best to live this out in various areas of my life over that past number of years. For example, I knew we needed to get out of debt, I trusted that spending less on things and putting more towards paying off debt would make the difference. It wasn't until we lived out that truth that we were able to become debt free. (If you want more examples from my journey, you can check out my ENCOURAGEMENT pages on my website for the various areas I have been working on in my own life such as Wellness, Health, Marriage, Parenting, Time, Money and Acts of Love).
I am not just talking the talk. I am doing my best to walk the walk beside you.
To put what we know and trust into ACTION is the most significant step for all of us along our journeys.
It is taking this step that has transformed my life and I believe it will transform your life too.
I offer for you to...
Pause. Breathe Pray.
Live from your head to your heart to your hands today. Take what you know you need to do, trust in it and then do it today to grow more into the person God created you to be.
