"Sometimes you have to do the things you don't want to do, to get the results you need to have."
I heard this quote years ago it has helped me often in life when having to make to decisions from something as simply as folding laundry (I don't want to do it but it needs to get done) to larger choices like how to use my time.
This fall my schedule has not been in balance and I have been praying for discernment on where I need to be versus where I want to be. When I stepped back from my schedule and looked to see where I need to be, it is making me have to stop things I truly want to be doing. For example, today I will be teaching my last yoga class at the gym I have been at since my 9 year old was an infant. It is a bittersweet day. I know I am doing what is right yet it isn't easy.

And see where you need to be versus where you want to be. As difficult as it may be take the first step, take it. And think about how short-term suffering often times leads to long-term freedom. I believe when we are where God needs us to be it helps bring us into balance and receive greater peace.
